Evaluation 4: Who would be the audience for your media product?
For my magazine my target audience would be for 20 years and older, I decided this age group because I wanted my magazine to be more mature, I made the price affordable and added loads of artists and feature stories to make the magazine worth buying. My magazine is inspired by Kerrang therefore I picked this age category as being more mature. The magazine itself has some pretty vocal and headstrong people in it, who are deemed by the public as outsiders and rebels that's why I picked my target audience to be 20 years and over because people who are in magazines like Kerrang and my own one I created have big personalities and some people might think they want be good role models for younger people. On my audience research I found that a lot of younger people like Pop and Rap style of music that's why I might my genre Rock/Metal to have mature audience. My magazine appeals to both genders because the woman on the cover of my magazine looks stylish which appeals to females and males because my magazine isn't just centered around one artist but many. The colours of my magazine include red, yellow, black and white can be associated with box sexes.
