Still image front covers 

Above is the image I used for my front cover. I chose this picture  because my magazine is very busy and I like how peaceful this picture is it brings normality to the magazine.

I chose to dress her in all black clothing to show what genre of music I am aiming for. Black comes across as dark and dangerous, which links to Rock/Metal as it's dark and heavy to listen to.

I used a black and white filter for my picture because I wanted the image to look vintage as my magazine has some Indie artists, I thought the filter could relate to people who link Indie music.

I chose this photo of her looking towards the ground because the social group who this is for are associated with not caring and do as they please. Her name is Bad Attitude therefore I wanted her to give off the vibe she has a bad attitude to connect to her name.

I used this image to represent the band Frozen Ground on the cover of my magazine. I chose this picture because they are wearing the same time to show they are connected in some way and that great minds think alike. The man on the left hand side looks while the man on the right hand side looks very serious, therefore this band has a contrast of serious but fun.

Contents page

I chose this picture for my contents page because the pose she is pulling is fun and amusing. I wanted to lighten up my contents page and make it seem carefree. I had a light background to emphasize her dark clothing to show even people Rock/Metal have loads of fun.

I used this image on the contents page, because the person in the image is dressed in a jester costume. I am empathizing being different and unique. I used this image because the light is centered around the hand in this image is reaching forward as if reaching out to the reader. The jester has black, white and red colours therefore linking to the magazine colour scheme. 

Double-spread page

I used the above image for my double-spread page, I took off the background to apply a lighter colour to the back to show her happier mood. I used this image because the title sounded very emotional and I wanted this image to show the double-spread page wasn't just an emotional story but a happy one too.
